The meat cleaver is the axe of the kitchen. It is designed for rough use and chopping through meat and bone is an easy task with this butcher's cleaver. I hand forge each cleaver from 5160 High Carbon Spring Steel and harden and temper it for maximum durability and edge holding ability. It has a rough forged finish, and I can make a leather blade cover (sheath) for it if required.
